H-Anime sharing has seemed pretty dry lately so here's a BD-Remux of both Swing Out Sisters Vol. 1 and Complete Edition. Unfortunately the video quality is pretty bad since they decided to bit-starve and encode it like trash. On the disc for Vol. 1 they padded the M2TS container so it would appear to be 8.16GB on disc meanwhile the actual AVC file is only 2.34GB. Now that's a lot of damage. Feels pretty great buying a disc full of zeros with a side of anime. Because of how badly it was bit-starved, main issues are tons of banding and blocking. Each of these versions do have some key points of interest. Vol. 1 is 23.976 fps while Complete Edition is 24 fps. The original Vol.1 that released back in 2011 is not heavily censored at all. I suppose that was before they started mandating heavier censoring. During Chinatsu and Yuuta's scene they even left a frame of Yuuta's wiener completely uncensored. I haven't scanned through the entire thing so perhaps there are more frames like that which could potentially be used to de-censor some segments. Complete Edition has two audio tracks. Primary track is the original voices for Chiyo and Chinatsu, secondary is a different dubbing for them in which they swapped voice roles: 1 - Chiyo ~ Risa Matsuda / Chinatsu ~ Kiyoka Ayashiro; 2 - Chiyo ~ Kiyoka Ayashiro / Chinatsu ~ Risa Matsuda. Vol 1 audio is 16bit LPCM -> flac. Complete Edition audio is 16bit DTS-HDMA. I usually use flac preset with MakeMKV but decided not to back when I ripped this, almost a year and a half ago when I got it. Only thing I did to these is cut out the before and after "warnings" which are actually separate on disc but MakeMKV recreates files from playlist information. No one else seemed to include them so if you really wanted to you could probably just slap your subtitles on and call it a day. I am also kind of interested if anyone knows if the music was actually released on a CD. If not, I guess gutting the theme songs from these audio tracks will work since they're lossless. I mean, the Lilith Vocal Collection exists and I got it off Amazon Japan back in like 2018 or 2019. Even though they're mastered super effing loud (ah yes, just how the music industry wants me to like it), I'm glad I have Ultimate Line and R.E.D because of it. (those are the only two I actually know which hanime they're from)
If you're not interested in trying to fix the artifacts or aren't too bothered by them, [x_x](https://www.avxdown.com/view/3484218) made a good effort with re-scaling Complete Edition.
